Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program: Transportation Department Contracting Opportunities |
||||||||||||||||||||
The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) has a policy to award a fair share of contract opportunities to disadvantaged and historically underutilized business enterprises. The NCTCOG Transportation Department has developed a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program specific to contracting opportunities which are funded through the U.S. Department of Transportation. Information about our DBE Program and DBE Participation goals are detailed below.
Businesses interested in becoming certified as a DBE must complete and submit an application through the Texas Unified Certification Program (TUCP) to the appropriate certifying agency in Texas. The certifying agency in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is the North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (NCTRCA). Firms in the Dallas-Fort Worth area interested in becoming a certified DBE firm should contact NCTRCA. As part of the DBE program and goal, NCTCOG recognizes DBE certifications received through the TUCP. The Transportation Department maintains a listing of DBE firms who wish to receive information about contracting opportunities with NCTCOG. Firms who wish to be added to NCTCOG's DBE list can do so by completing this form. Procurement opportunities with NCTCOG are posted periodically on our website, http://www.nctcog.org/rfp. DBE firms are strongly encouraged to participate.
This list represents DBE firms who are registered in NCTCOG's vendor database. NCTCOG does not certify firms as DBE's.
For information about all DBE's registered in the State of Texas please visit http://www.txdot.gov/business/partnerships/tucp.html
