The Dallas-Fort Worth Regional Safety Information System will be a GIS-based crash information system for the region that will help to identify motor vehicle crash hot spots, to include those that involve pedestrians and bicyclists. The System will incorporate crash data that is received from the Texas Department of Transportation Crash Records Information System.
