NCTCOG Feral Hog Forum

Description:

Please join us as we convene experts, stakeholders, and other to discuss feral hog management in North Central Texas. 

This forum will include a presentation from Rachel Richter, Texas Parks & Wildlife, and Josh Helcel, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. Attendees will also have the opportunity to share their entity's feral hog management practices during the roundtable discussion. 

Rachel Richter will provide a presentation on the background of feral hogs, including what they are and their biology, why they are in North Central Texas, and the damage they can cause. 

Josh Helcel will provide a presentation on the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension's Feral Hog Reporting Tool, including some of the challenges and successes faced in the resurrection of this tool. 

NCTCOG is seeking facilitiators for the roundtable discussion. If you would like to volunteer as a facilitator, please contact Hannah Allen at hallen@nctcog.org.

Additionally, NCTCOG is seeking a breakfast sponsor for this workshop. If you are interested in sponsoring breakfast, please contact Hannah Allen at hallen@nctcog.org by August 6, 2019.
